Advanced Beginner’s Guide to Quilting

Are your geese not flying in formation? Are your half-square triangles not measuring up? Come join us for fun and adventure as we learn different techniques to help those triangles to square up and those geese to fly in line!

Supplies needed:

  • Modern Holiday Table Runners Volume 2 by Cluck Cluck Sew. 
  • Sewing Machine with your owner's manual.
  • 24" ruler
  • Rotary cutter
  • General sewing supplies like thread, bobbin, scissors etc!
  • Fabric

  • Dates: Mondays — October 6, 13, 20, 27
  • Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
  • Location: Box Car Quilts
  • Cost: $100 for the full 4-part series
  • Skill Level: Advanced Beginner (comfortable with basic piecing and 1/4" seams)
  • Materials: Supply list provided upon registration.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: You must be able to operate your sewing machine without assistance. Some understanding of quilting lingo would be helpful, but not absolutely necessary.

Instructor Bio: Joan is an avid quilter and incredibly skilled! She works at Box Car Quilts and we are so lucky to have her now instructing beginner quilting classes.
