Morning: Longarm Machine Basics & Quilting Techniques

We'll start the day off with a comprehensive introduction to the Janome longarm machine. Kate will cover the foundational skills you need to operate a longarm, including:

• Loading and threading the machine
• Adjusting tension settings for optimal quilting
• Pantographing techniques to create continuous designs

We’ll also take a deeper dive into advanced quilting techniques. Kate will demonstrate free motion quilting, rulerwork, and other techniques to help you elevate your quilting projects.

Afternoon: ProStitcher Basics & Edge-to-Edge Quilting Skills

In the afternoon we'll get technical with the powerful ProStitcher software. Kate will guide you through:

• The basics of loading, saving, and managing quilting designs

• Tips on enhancing precision and creativity with ProStitcher on a Janome longarm
