Come join Erin from Millies Design Co as she shows you how to construct the beautiful Lilac Mini Messenger by Blue Calla and matching key chain!

Please download your pattern from www.bluecallapatterns.com. In the shop, under free patterns, look for The Lilac Mini Messenger and download the pattern. This pattern is free!

We will also be making a keychain.  You can choose to match your bag or make something completely different.  For this you will need a scrap piece of fabric at least 4” x 16”. You can purchase the hardware separately or enjoy it as part of your kit.

Please print your pattern before the class and set your printer settings to “100% or none”, do not select “fit to page”.  You can check your print size by measuring the box on page 16.  Please cut out the pattern pieces on pages 14 – 16.

 If you wish to purchase your own supplies, please follow the supply list on page 2 of the pattern. Erin recommends choosing three fabrics, one for the exterior body, one for the exterior flap and one for the entire lining. (Unless you buy a kit, you only need 2 fabrics)

 Erin is also offering kits to make the project even easier.  If you purchase a kit, you will only need to buy your thread, flap fabric, and lining. She recommends picking out 2 different fabrics, one main and one lining along with the kit.  You should have a ½ yard of each main and lining.

Piping is optional.  Please buy premade piping in a color to match your exterior fabric if you choose.  Look for ½” piping.
